Schrodinger's cat is lucky?

Simple thought experiment, measuring a quantum event that will select a box to release a toxic gas. Select the cat alive and well to gain a point. The game is over when you choose an unwell cat. 

The cats are alive and unwell simultaneously, but can you spot patterns in meter readings to save Schrodinger's cats, or will you just be lucky?
