Stay on the Tracks
TriJam 229 theme was "Keep on the rails". I envisioned switching a rail hand cart between tracks to avoid oncoming steam trains. With three hours to develop, compromises were made, so switching tracks was instant. I put in a simple parallax effect to give the illusion of motion, together with simple hand cart animation.
Instructions
Use W and S to move the cart up and down to avoid oncoming trains. Use A and D to speed up or slow down the cart.
Development
I created and designed all the animations, vector graphics and game code. No AI images or code were used in this project.
Feedback is welcome.
Update: I spent an extra hour of development time fixing some bugs and minor improvements.
Final Update:

- Added a "Time lasted" to see how well you have done.
- Change the music during the game

Bugs
There are many flaws, but with little time to fix them. Known issues
- Trains can spawn on top of each other[mostly fixed in the final update]
- Sometimes train frequency will be impossible to avoid [fixed with the second update].
- Issue initialise the parallax at the start. [Fixed in an update]
- The game has only one mechanic [Fixed in the second update].
